We accept and bill most major PPO plans, plus Nevada Medicaid.

How to use your dental insurance

Here's what happens with your coverage, step by step.

We check your benefits

Before your appointment, we check your coverage and tell you what to expect, so there's no guessing in the chair.

You get a clear treatment plan

After your exam, you get a treatment plan with an estimated out-of-pocket cost. If there's more than one option, we'll go over each one.

We file your claims

We send claims directly to your insurance company, so you're not the one on hold with them.

Understanding Your Coverage

Every plan is different, but here are some general rules of thumb for typical dental insurance.

Typical Percentages

Many plans follow a 100-80-50 pattern: 100% for preventive care, 80% for basic procedures (like fillings) and 50% for major work (like crowns).

What's Usually Covered

Insurance typically covers routine exams, cleanings, X-rays, fillings, root canals, extractions, crowns and bridges.

What's Often Not Covered

Cosmetic treatments like whitening and veneers are rarely covered. Adult orthodontics, including aligners, may also be excluded, depending on your plan.

Waiting Periods

Some plans have a waiting period, often 6 to 12 months, before they cover major restorative work. Preventive care is usually covered right away.
